Deep crimson in the glass, the 2023 vintage opens with cassis, blackberry and dark fruit, layered with cedar and finely judged French oak. The palate builds gradually, with silky tannins bringing shape and balance through to a long, persistent finish.

Generous without feeling heavy, this is a Cabernet suited to slow dinners and cooler evenings. Pair with braised lamb, roast beef or chargrilled vegetables, or cellar for up to five years as the fruit and savoury detail continue to develop.
